At around 7 years old, your gymnast may begin in a Girls 1 or Boys 1 class. They may be invited, based on a Capital Coach’s assessment to join a Girls 2, Boys 2, Girls 3 or pre-team track with classes like Dynamites or Hot Shot.
Capital Gymnastics’ curriculum and coaches are committed to teach, with care and respect, a mastery of the fundamental skills necessary to excel in tumbling, trampoline, bars, beam, and vaulting. Each gymnast will learn how to safely progress to more and more challenging skills, building upon a strong foundation of body-position awareness, strength, flexibility, confidence and positive empowerment.
